Your life has a sort of fun tradition to it I've found. Go to school, go back home for the summer. Repeat.
Nothing wrong with that of course.
So, one more year of school? Or...4 to 5 more years (PhD program)?
All I know is...I'm glad you're still in because you're one of the only people my age (25) ...wait..well..you're *almost* 25 (class of 99 represeeeeent!). Anyways, you're one of the only people my age I know that is still in college. It's that whole thing of socially accepted standards and that we should be out of school by now and be in the real world. But...the way I see it is...when I'm 50 years old I'm going to look back and that extra year or two..or three :) ....it took me to finish school won't matter in the grand scheme of things.
Ok, I just gave myself some free therapy. Thanks. ;)
Yeah, 5 more years, if I make it that far. It's funny how when I started college I was pre-med but I changed my mind because I didn't want to be in school for 8 years. But next May, 8 years later, I'll be graduating with my BACHELOR'S. heh... life can be funny. I've had detours, just as most people I talk to. It's not like I did nothing, I did get my degree in ministry, even though I'm no longer using it. Few people figure out what they want to do when they're so young, you just don't know that around 18 or 19 years old. Most likely if you choose something and stick with it, you regret it a few years later. I love what my life has become academically and personally, and I'm glad I waited to finish school until I realized what I really want to do.
By my 10-year reunion, I should have just gotten my Master's... but that'll be more than most of my classmates have achieved.
The relationship that you have with God merely depends on your personal experiences with Him and keeping the line of communication open. I'm quite certain that you have experienced things that more than qualifies His realness in the world and to you. These things are what you hold onto as "absolute truths", the things that get you through your darkest times when you feel destitute and abandoned by all. For example, I received a miraculous healing in my permanently damaged knees at a Tim Storey conference. The power that hit me was undeniable. Also, I had a tangible transference of anointing when I saw Darlene Czscheh that I felt physically and couldn't be explained naturally. These "absolute truths" that I've personally experienced have kept me on track when I question the existence of God.
You pray and talk to God. GOOD! That's more than most of "practicing" Christians do today. After all, that's what He really wants from us anyway: simply to be able to sit down, hold a conversation, and share your life with Him. It's just like
