Philadelphia Phillies manager, Charlie Manuel, used to play baseball in Japan. For the Yakult Swallows, who play at Jingu Stadium (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meiji_Jingu_Stadium). I have a great view of this stadium from my office now. That's pretty cool.

It seems like my time at Honda is coming to an end. I will post a few entries about things I will miss.

The first is that magical draft on the stairs of Gaienmae station that never ceases to blow up skirts.

We are infamous for booing our own teams.

At one game the entire stadium pelted some guy dressed up as Santa Claus with snowballs.
Yes, we even hate Santa Claus.

The other day I went to an international party here in Tokyo, and ran into some guy from Bosnia / Herzegovina. When I mentioned that I was American his eyes lit up.
