But the mirror itself is also an object that you can see. Surely you'd be capable of looking through reflective objects too.

Depends on if the mirror is Lv-1 or Lv-2.

Lv-2 reflects all beams and lazers.

It takes a sheet of lead to deflect x-rays. (that's why you have to wear a lead apron if you ever have one done, except with chest x-rays of course)

Mirrors only have a thin foil of tin or something in them.

Yeah, but lead doesn't deflect the radiation per se. It just stops it
