Today, my sexy new digital camera and I went out to take some photos of the city for a couple of projects I'm working on at uni. I thought you might like to look at some of them, for some reason.
Here's a gross old alley, to start things off:
More gross alley-ness. I don't remember why I took this one or why I'm showing it here:
A skyline. I didn't really mean for this to turn out this way, but I'm sort of glad it did:
Now that I think about it, I don't really know what this building is. It is quite pretty, though!
As much as I rag on Portsmouth, it does have its upsides. Sometimes it is nice to go out and get a different perspective of things.
I still want to move away next year though.
This is probably my favourite photo. It almost looks like I vaguely know what I'm doing:
The Millenium Tower. They called it that even though it didn't get finished until 2005, so then they renamed it the Spinnaker Tower. It cost £35.6 million. £11.1 million of that was from the taxpayers. The very first time it was used, the lift broke. And it is hideous. Look at it.
I hate this fucking tower.
I almost got a job in that pub on the left. And by "Almost got a job" I mean I applied for a job once and never heard back from them, but I actually didn't even really want the job in the first place anyway. True story.
These captions are pretty unnecessary.
Oh, Portsmouth!
Wasn't that fun, kids?
