Has anyone seen (on the BBC), or is anyone watching (on PBS) Bleak House? Heads up to X-Files fans: Gillian Anderson is in it, and I heard she's phenomenal in this series. I wish I was more familiar with the Dickens story. The series just started airing, so I've got all month to watch. I've only watched about an hour of this so far, and it's great

The Dickens story is... well... I read half of it for my Brit Lit class last year, and I never finished it because it's almost 1000 pages long and there were other books to read in the class. But if you're up for huge, long-winded novels with tons of characters (but the Penguin edition has pictures!), definitely go for it! It's classic Dickens and I think a must-read, but I'm a book geek. I'm hoping to tackle the novel again in a few months, after I graduate -- and after I've watched the miniseries, of course.
