Well, apparently I have an interview tomorrow in the Fiction Department of BPL for one of their part-time librarian positions. So, no job at Birmingham Public apparently. Whatever. I'm starting to think I need to rethink my career goals or something.

Oh well. I'm going to eat some Mexican food and drink some beer to get my mind off of it.

So, I won't be moving to a Troy in the Fall, apparently. I got a letter in the mail saying that the position had been filled. I'm irked that sent me a letter instead of calling, but at least it's over. I'm disappointed, but boy is it a load off of my mind. One of the stupid things I do on a very consistent basis is that I put soft drinks in the freezer in order to get them cold quickly. Unfortunately, thanks to my absent-mindedness, I often forget about them and they stay in there far too long.
