if Gaylord Focker hadn't lost his luggage in the movie "Meet the Parents" things may have been totally different and he might not have been able to marry the girl he loved.................so there

o, and in chasing liberty they got on the wrong train and actually bought them more time for escaping from their pursuers........i'm sure this movie will apply to your europe adventure.................jk
