Progression

Growing older is rough stuff, especially if you don't really grow up. At least it seams that way, but what do I know? I'm 25 and act like I'm still 18, my girlfriend tells me I need to grow up, that I can't live this way forever. Well of course you respond haha, listening to your band the other day, and today made me wonder what was going on in the long lost land of live journal. And now I'm listening to the Aislers Set because of that too. I'm glad we've reconnected, even if its so slightly.

Things will only change if you change them. But you have to want to change them.

My boyfriend has a job, graduated college, wants to go to grad school, all that stuff, but he still acts like a 12 year old most of the time. A diploma and a steady paycheck won't necessarily validate your age to anyone else's satisfaction. The important thing is to treat people right and take care of yourself.

This. Being mature is overrated, but taking care of your well-being is so important. Fortunately, I know several happy and healthy people whom I would never classify as "mature."

Also, do you still keep in touch with Jon and Marissa?
