Why I Miss My 20s

I feel feisty today. Agitated. As if nothing is going quite right or exactly how I would like it and I'm being under-appreciated and under-utilized. Perhaps it's just the weather--70 degrees in January--giving me cabin fever and a desire to be outside doing something fun or being more productive. Or out someplace on the road. I'm 31, and my husband, who is 28, makes fun of my ability(?) to fall asleep at any time, anywhere, not always voluntarily. Well, anywhere and any time except when I'm actually trying to sleep at night.

At the ripe old age of 42, I apparently don't suffer most of the physical problems you describe. I have some aches in my ankles but that's just because I've fucked both of them up in the past 7 years (broke one, badly sprained the other). I basically still eat whatever I want without any consequence with concern to indigestion, though it's more willing to stay on my paunch than when I was younger. When I sleep, I'm dead to the world... though I do seem to have the natural clock of ~8-9am, which I find strange since I *don't* have a regular schedule ( ... )

I'm particularly surprised since youve been a smoker--which is often. The cause of many of these. Although, you're also not significantly overweight...but smoking and drinking and being overweight and taking sedatives are all causes of acid reflux...which leads to sleeping problems....which leads to aches...
