君の全てを許して
抱きしめ濡れたあの夜
涙の重ささえも
測れず二人揺れた
I forgave all of you
On that night, we embraced under the rain
We did not mind the weight of our tears
The two of us swayed
Kamenashi stood before him, looking up innocently. Slowly, the younger man came nearer, and tiptoed ever so slightly. Their lips met in a slow and gentle kiss. Jin felt weird. He had only kissed girls before. But Kame’s lips were soft, and quite sweet, and to be honest, Jin liked it.
But the kiss abruptly ended when Kame pulled back as they heard the rest of the group coming into the dressing room.
“Where’s my towel?” Taguchi asked no one in particular as he, Nakamaru, Ueda, and Koki went around the curtain that divided the room.
Kame handed the taller man one of the skull-printed Pirate towels with his head down, a furious blush on his face.
Akanishi bolted up in his bed, his breathing slightly labored, and tears in his eyes.
He dreamt of Kame.
He would never forget that ridiculously beautiful blush that remained on Kame’s face for the rest of the concert on that particular day. And Jin could still remember how the kiss felt. What wouldn’t he give to feel that again?

Jin came into the studio early. He was nearly always late before he left KAT-TUN. He guessed he would be the “spoiled” member of the group, at least in terms of punctuality. But since coming to the US and having to live alone and even downgrade his lifestyle a little, he was able to discipline himself, and at the least, he learned to come for work politely early.
Half an hour after arriving, Jin found out that there was a change in schedule and that he would, in fact, be recording with Nakamaru today, and not Koki.
“Ah, Akanishi,” the eldest KAT-TUN member greeted Jin as he entered the studio. “Ohayou.”
Jin grinned back in his swivel chair, happy with the greeting. Somehow, it made him feel that nothing much had changed between them.
“Ohayou!”

After recording for the whole day, Jin and Nakamaru agreed to have dinner together, since both men had no plans for the night. They had been sitting in a cozy ramen house for a while, chatting about random things while waiting for their orders, when Nakamaru remarked, somewhat out of the blue, that Akanishi had changed. After earning a bewildered stare from the younger man, he explained.
“Well, back then, you’d usually have plans to go clubbing, right? And you have a special reason to use for a while. To celebrate your return!”
Jin laughed at the candid comment.
“Believe it or not, a lot about me has changed since coming to the US.”
The beatboxer nods, staring thoughtfully at his newly re-established bandmate.
“America did Akanishi Jin good, then,” he says.
Just then, his face turned shocked as he realized that his guileless tongue got the better of him again. What he said practically meant that Jin was not good when he left. Nakamaru stuttered as he tried to apologize, but instead, Jin smiled and agreed.
“Working there taught me a lot, and changed me for the better, I guess,” he said, looking down at his beverage. “But then… it wasn’t only going to the US that changed me.”
At this, Nakamaru threw him a concerned, almost sympathetic look.
“It used to be fun, going to parties and stuff,” Jin continued, aware that Nakamaru was now watching him nervously. The man never handled emotional people very well. “But after what happened, somehow… my view on life changed.”
And Nakamaru was relieved that at that precise moment, their dinner was served. For the rest of their meal, the two men did not talk anymore about their careers or the music industry. And so, they did not talk about KAT-TUN as well. Instead, they chatted about their personal lives. Jin inquired how the older man felt after graduating from university, and Nakamaru discussed about Jin’s continuous English lessons.

Akanishi Jin sat on the bed in his hotel room. It kind of sucked that he had to stay here when he had a house nearby, but management insisted that he stayed at the hotel because there was a lot of work to be done. Simply put, he had to work as much as and whenever possible.
Suddenly, it didn’t feel like home at all, but he consoled himself. He remembered the times when KAT-TUN had just made their debut, and they had to work double time, pulling all-nighters in preparing for their performances and projects.
He missed the group strength. When he was away, while he had the Jin Crew, all fun and insane and definitely Jin’s kind of crowd, it was still so very different from when you had five men all dreaming the same dream with you. It was this unique group bond that Jin failed to consider back then, two years ago. He now understood why Kame was so disheartened when Jin left KAT-TUN, having to turn to One Piece and all.
Jin sighed. He missed KAT-TUN after all.

As I’ve mentioned as reply to a comment in Chapter 1, would you be mad if I said that the next chapters tell of Jin's interaction with other KT members and no Kame yet? That’s just the way I’ve outlined the whole fic, and I hope you guys stick with me through the end. As I’ve mentioned, the fic is just seven chapters long (plus the prologue). So, yeah. Oh and, will probably post slower since weekend's over? /hides/
Tell me what you think about this chapter?
