Watched the Merlin episode "The Witchfinder".
That guy was an EXCELLENT villain. I hated him quite a bit watching this.
I loathed him when he framed Gaius, and was watching from between my fingers when he was questioning my girl Morgana.
YOU BITCH. YOU SILLY BITCH.
My money was on him having magical powers, maybe he could read minds, so he knew Gaius, Merlin, and Morgana had magic, but couldn't prove it, so he framed them.
The writers made him even more evil than that, making him into a greedy sumbitch.
Gwen owning Arthur in the face over her father was A+ well played, and Gaius ripping Uther a new one nicely there at the end was fantastic.
My only qualm was that when Iridian was using Morgana as a (very pretty) shield, s1 Arthur would have CUT. A. BITCH, if he could have gotten there in time. Morgana would have probably beat Iridian's ass for ever treating her like anything more than HBIC. Instead, they chose to cut to Morgana looking scared, then to Uther, then back to Morgana looking scared, then back to Uther, THEN to Arthur who was like "Oh, what do I do? I'll just stand here and not really care."
NO WRONG. Dammit, show.
I was living for maybe a tiny "I'm glad you're okay." Arthur/Morgana hug, but NIL. Really, show. Just...give us something. *sniffle*
I did love that Merlin decided to be a smartass with the "frog in the throat" thing. Also, THE ARTHUR/MERLIN IS RETURNING, AND I AM HAPPY FOR IT. Merlin taking a swing at Arthur was hilarious. & then they were all close and there was UST and it was good.
Still, not as good as the "I thought you were going for a hug..." scene in the last episode. I DIED.
And Photobucket can EAT A DICK. I am not logging into that site every 90 days to "keep my account active". What's another good batch uploading site so that I can re-upload my mood theme? That is RIDICULOUS.
