It was awesome and amazing and I cannot wait for next Sunday! Hnnng.
I am completely ignoring the people bitching about the new style (which isn't all that different, just more fluid and clean) and watching the episode over and over. I found a download of it and watching it on HD - you REALLY see some stuff you miss on television.
There is the part when Warden is dressed as Jailbot around the machine and the machine eyes in the background are blinking and stuff. I didn't notice that until earlier. Pretty awesome.
I also, I wonder what they had to do to David Wain to get him to scream like that when Warden got electrocuted. It sounded more suggestive than painful in my opinion. Haha.
Wow i gotta see that ep again then XD. Do you know if itunes has it yet ? They normally have HD quality episodes or something. Or matter of fact if you could send me the download you have i'm hoping its an Mp4 so i can stick it on itunes and my ipod.
It was awesome, but there was no "sequence" at the end like there was in every episode of the first season - y'know, one of those super long fluid scenes where crazy shit happens for like 2 minutes. I missed that. ): Is the second season being directed by someone different?
Nah. Same director- Christy Karacas. I assume it was just a refresher episode. This season they did say they were going to work on character back stories and development.
Yeah, they're not doing the super violence sequences for every episode now. But some will still have it. Like I think the newest ep has enough violence for everyone and their mom.
I can go either way since I like the visuals and cartoon violence and the characters and humor. The season premier was pretty sweet, imaginative, and funny, so it's good. :]
