i just keep thinking of the big lebowski and the scene where the dude is in Mr. Lebowski's office and the dude says "ah fuck it" and mr. lebowski bites his head off for being a bum. i guess i hate giving things up but i don't think there is much else to do

i obviously know how you feel and i'm not going to tell you that your time, energy and breath was wasted because i honestly dont think that. shit happens sometimes and maybe letting go is the best thing b/c there might not be anything else left. i hate giving up too but sometimes you have no choice. things will get better just like they always do and you'll survive just like everyone else. but if there is more to know then go for it. you've already gone this far then you shouldnt let go if you know there is more. and sorry to hear about your music...but again shit happens
