Title: A Christmas Surprise

Rating: R

Pairings: Sylar/Elle

Summary:  Sylar gets a surprise for Christmas, but things aren’t exactly as he thinks they are.

Author’s Note: This ended up going a lot differently then I planned, but I think it worked.

“Can I open my eyes already?” You call out, your voice showing how impatient you were getting. What was so important that she had to hide it until she came out of the bathroom.

There was a soft giggle as you felt a figure climb onto your bed, straddling you now. “You can open them” She chirps in a voice that never fails to arouse you. Your eyes flash open and you’re breathless of the sight of her. It had been well worth the surprise.

She was wearing this see-through red negligee with white trim, and a Santa hat, along with a rather smug grin.  Your hand slips underneath her nightgown, and you grin a little yourself now. No underwear.

“So Gabriel,” She purrs, leaning in to kiss at your jaw line, teasing her tongue against your stubble. “How do you like your Christmas surprise?” Before you can even respond her little hands have reached inside of your boxers, wrapping themselves around your growing erection.

Your head tilts back as you let out an approving groan, pulling her down for a fierce kiss. Your tongues clashes against hers wildly before you finally pull away, panting for air. “This is the best present I’ve ever gotten” You admit with a smile.

Her expression changes at that, something of a mixture of pain and pity. Her hands continue working up and down your shaft, little bolts of electricity traveling through your body with each pump. “Gabriel, if you wanted something like this so badly…you just had to ask. I could of given you anything you wanted, but it’s too late now.”

You blink in confusion, grabbing her wrists to still her now, looking up at her. “What do you mean?”

“I’m dead. You killed me last night. It’s not Christmas. You’re on a beach in Costa Verde and you killed me” Her eyes filled with tears. “I would have given you so much, but you killed me. I wanted to surprise you like this someday, that’s what you got from my brain. I wasn’t lying to you. Why didn’t you trust me?”

“…I…but my blood…I  can save you” Your words are more focused now, clear. How could you have been so stupid? She didn’t know anything about your parents. All she wanted to do was help you, and you had gone and done a stupid thing like killing her.

“You can,” She leans down, whispering into your ear. “But first you have to wake up.”

And suddenly your eyes flash open, and it’s no longer Christmas. It’s a cold evening in Costa Verde, and you’re on a beach, lying next to your dead lover.  You wonder if it’s been too long for this to work but you have to try. You hold your wrist over her lips, using your telekinesis to rip the skin open. The blood drops down into her mouth for a few moments before the wound heals. And then you wait.

At first, nothing happens, and you panic. Maybe you were too late. Or maybe your blood isn’t as potent as Claire’s, maybe it can’t revive people. So many worried thoughts go through your head until suddenly you hear a loud gasp for air, and you watch the gash across her head begin to heal.

You drop down to her side, feeling like you might almost cry in relief.  You expect her to run, you expect to scream or zap you or something, but she just stares at you. “Are you done being an idiot now?” She asked in an unimpressed tone.

You laugh hollowly at that, nodding in agreement. “I’m done being an idiot.”

She scoots closer to you now, resting her head on your shoulder, and it’s the most comfortable feeling you think you’ve ever experienced.  “Because if you slice open my head a third time, I’m not forgiving you, okay? Seriously. Twice is fucked up enough”

You’re inclined to agree, and you’re surprised she’s staying so close to you and you’re just so relieved that she’s alive, and still at your side. You lean in brushing your lips against hers lightly before pulling away. “I promise. I won’t let me ever hurt you again”

She smirked now, leaning in for another kiss. And another.  And another. And as she slowly guides you to the sand you realize that anything you can have in reality with her beats any fantasy you could come up with.

Not that you’d say no if she decided to surprise you on Christmas.
