You have hereby confirmed (and encouraged) that I must get cherries at the farmer's market today. That is an awesome deal on cherries. The cheapest I've seen, and it's cheap for even around here for local organic ones, is 3 bucks a pound.
3 bucks isn't bad. That's less than they are at my farmer's market. I've decided that I'm going to take advantage of all the farms around here and try to pick my own when it's available.
Oh yea, I'm not complaining about the 3 bucks, I'm just super impressed with the farm price! No car for me, so no farms for me, hence the farm share : ) Pretty sure our farm doesn't have cherries.
The farm share sounds really awesome. I'd love to get rid of my car (it's kind of a clunker anyway), but it's a bit hard to do around here unless you never want to go anywhere outside of the city. One thing I do love about this area is the abundance of farms and produce - you can pretty much find anything you want without looking too far.
You Lancasterians and your fruit pickin'. Here in the city, we have people pick the cherries FOR US and serve them to us on golden platters, by gorgeous men in nothing but their underwear!
Well there was a guy at the farm, but I don't think I'd like to see him in his underwear. I bet you fancy city folk pay a lot more for your cherries, though. :)
It is a lot of cherries. But I don't think I'll hear you complaining when you're eating cherry cobbler tomorrow night, now will I? Clearly I'm all good with the hanging of out. The Buffy as well.
