So, this past weekend, I decided to stay back, and compared to the hustle and bustle of traveling, it was rather relaxing. What!?!?!

Have you no love for the universal language of the Church, the language spoken down through the centuries by religious, priests, bishops, doctors, martyrs, saints, popes, etc...? Have you no feeling of awe when the mass parts are performed in some of the exact words that have been used for centuries and are still used all over the world?

Latin is a beautiful and rich part of our Catholic heritage.

(Don't mind me--I'm just a bit pro liturgia latina.)

I'm really not into Latin. I respect it, I find it kind of interesting, but for me, if I don't understand the mass, no matter what language its in, then its missing something. I might as well have been in Hungary at a mass in Hungarian, cuz either way I wouldn't have understood it. I appreciate it as a part of Catholic heritage, but not too much at a mass I attend. I like to understand what I'm attending.

hey luke (and ben, you should read this too) My aunt called me today to tell me she is going to Australia tomorrow to work on a superman movie. now she may only be there for 5 weeks, but it is possable that she will be there for 6 months, she wont know till she gets there. this could infringe on our summer plans, ill give you updates when i get them.

Dude! Can you ask her to get me the actor that's playing Superman's autograph? I would be so excited about that! If not, no biggie. Thanks for the update

i can ask, so yea, i was invited to go out there to visit, but tickets are rediculous, the lowest i could find is around 1662. but when will i ever have a chance again to go out there, she is being given an apartment right on the water and everything, its a tough call

It is more or less official, my aunt will be in australia for 5-6 months. so that means that CA is most likely not going to happen.
