yay! i got new bedding. it's leopard print &cute-f/ delias. i'm a loser. okay. on thursday night i went out to uno's and then slept over kimmy's. i documented this event because that's how i do.
I notice the name "Conor" is getting really popular. Interesting how popularity changes. My mom wanted to name me "John," which is always really popular. When I was a kid in the '70's, "Debbie" was popular for girls. In the '80's quite a few Tiffany's and Jason's appeared. Now "Jason" and "Josh" (and "John" of course) are still popular, but rarely does "Tiffany" appear. I've only known one "Buffy," who is about 35 now I think.
Parents from China and the Phillipines like to give their kids old-fashioned names-- Gertrude, Vivian, Ingrid. I have no idea why.
I don't know of anybody besides the Phoenix family who gave their kids "nature" names like "Leaf" and "River."
Of course to figure out when a name was popular you have to subtract the age of the person from this year.
Do people under 30 still know what "The Name Game" is? They never play it on the radio anymore.
