OMG THIS. This fulfills a need I didn't even know I had. It's such a marvellously creepy use of the crack in the wall and unaccountably perfect.

Thank you! It was just such a good prompt, I knew it NEEDED to be filled and when no-one else filled it, I thought maybe I'd better. XD I'm glad you like it. :)

D'awwww. So sad and sweet.

the man grabs his face in both his hands and head-butts him, hard

I would pay good money to see this happen. XD

So would I. Can't you just imagine Sherlock's moment of "WTF are you doing man, get off me!" :D Thank you!

*remembers to breathe* This. This is fantastic! Sherlock's loss is heartbreaking but there's so much hope in those last few lines. *glees*

Excellent. I haven't watch any Dr. Who other than the Tom Baker years. Which Doctor was this?

Oh Sherlock is almost functional with John in his life. Sherlock immediately incorporated him. It's weird to see the way things are without him, and how Sherlock notices the vacuum.

It's the Eleventh Doctor, Matt Smith (part of the storyline for series 5 of the recent reboot involved cracks in time that could erase people, leaving gaps in the memories of people who knew them). I'm so glad to hear you enjoyed the fic, thanks for commenting!
