So I'm back, and I have this to say: It was nice driving into Edmonton, but it was beautiful driving the fuck out. Which is not to say it was a horrible experience in its entirety...there were good times, bad times, and things stolen from our hotel rooms as we worked eleven hour days. Funny, because when I leave Edmonton, even if I was only there for a week, I get that same kind of huge relief. I'm a Calgary girl. Or at least I was, until looking for a damn place! Now Calgary's feeling very mean.

i can relate to the directionlessness feeling of not registering... i was in walmart and didn't have to buy anything for school supplies for the first time since i was 4! it was a very weird feeling....
