Tomorrow's got to be better, right?

Which isn't really fair,  today wasn't terrible as far as things that happened, it just wasn't a good day in my headguts.

And I guess Jared's mom was in a fairly serious car accident yesterday.  She's okay, but is lucky to be alive.  :(  Poor Jared-Mama.

Full disclosure:  If you are my Facebook friend, and you like to fill your status in with extreme religious/political views, I will defriend you.   I don't need you telling me about the abortionists you hope are going to die violent deaths, or how poor people are evil and sucking the money out of good taxpaying citizens.

Deep breaths.  Today will be an amazing day.  It has to be.  There's a farmer's market and knitter's breakfast, shopping with my boss, and dinner and a dancing lesson with my friend.  Oh- and I slept on Jon and Kari's bed which is possibly the most comfortable bed ever.

I think that sounds like a suitable day.

I made a pretty awesome pear and berry cobbler last night.  I had some fruit that needed using, and tada!  I sprinkled some ginger and curry on top before putting on the biscuit stuff, and that totally made it really good ( Read more... )

I'm unpacking my books tonight.  How many layers of books do you think each shelf will have?

(There is one shelf that consistently gets at least 3 layers of books!)

I went to the Coop in hopes of it being a tasty soup day.  Sadly, none of the soups were to my liking.  So I had string cheese and Twizzlers for dinner instead.  (Am I five?  Maybe.)

I was driving behind a car and it's bass was so loud it hurt my ears.  :(  Boo.

I'm procrastinating and not cleaning or packing like I'm supposed to be.
