I thought today was going to be a fairly good day... I got a bill from the cremation place, and some paperwork to fill out for the life insurance, sort of a double whammy.

I think I will come out of my cave for a bit. Obviously I have been a bit despondent and depressed. I am happy my wife is out of pain, and it was truly how she really wanted it to be, including her memorial, in every detail. Lisa is still in the hospital. They switched the feeding tube from her nose to one that goes direct into her stomach. All kinds of bad stuff, swollen to balloon size and such followed. The swelling in her stomach is slowly coming down. Once it is down, they will start back on getting her off the ventillator again, but will have to backstep a bit ( Read more... )
