• last friday:
-worked in studio on friend's wedding invite package
-went to Windsor McCay screening/lecture at the franklin institute
-watched gallery for 1st Fri: good show, solid artists:Cannonball Press
• saturday:
- helped out with a t-shirt printing workshop with july artists...it was nice out today but hot as a mofo with 100+ bodies in the studio trying to learn how to put images on t-shirts...
- went to a friend's opening at a house-gallery
- went back to studio. . . worked a bit more
- almost got jumped for my bike on my ride home at 4inthefucking morning by a couple of thugs. . . WTF?!?! it wasn't a safety issue, more that my bike's a piece of shit. . . you can hear me peddling from a block away. . . only bike geeks would know how much its really worth if tuned up. . . .so i knew they were either A) showing off or B) had their beer muscles on. .
. . ..later i found out that it was greek weekend. . . .then it made sense. they weren't thugs....just college kids posing as them
• sunday. . .worked some more. . .forget on what
• monday:
- woke up at 3pm
- prepped for the week. . .
- visited my old boss at the bar...had a long talk about what to charge in freelancing and how not to get fucked...(he was in the music industry for a hot sec so he knows all about thee-douche-bag-hustle)
•Tuesday. . . woke up early
- hustled enough to make rent (overdue)
- mailing DVD samples to the world and rent check
- pulled a 3 color print ( for some art print exhange i found on myspace)
- numbered and trimmed
• Wednesday. . .
- mailed said prints
- finalized laying out friend's wedding invites. . .waiting for feedback
- rendered out an old video project for courier to pick up
- met with my friend (and staple client),Tim, to mix colors for next print job
- made spaghetti with ground-buffalo-meat-sauce
• Thursday. . .
- billed/quoted people
- fixed door buzzer at studio. . .but internet's still busted
- finished 3 of the 4 colors on tim's job
- picked invite colors
- went out for drinks with a couple of friends and met up with more friends( only 2drinks!!! yayayayay!) . actually had fun.
• this Friday
- figure a way to purchase paper stock for wedding invites....

i keep reminders and to-do lists on "stickies" (it's a mac thing) so i don't forget what i need to do and what's been completed...this is just a bit of copying, pasting and linking
it's humid as fuck lately. i've seen people printing barefooted this week....not me i ain't no hippie.
if standing for hours on end i need my airmax's....topless is as far as i go...it's too hot to be bashful

collectors are now sending me a-notice-a-day in the mail....ok i get it...geez.
got hooked on watching Teen Titans on youtube. since i haven't had access to cable (or sat mornings for a while) i've been catching up...and then i caught up. . . it got cancelled??? man, i'm out of it.
