1. Work. For about a month I lived in fear of being fired because our organization lost an $800,000 grant due to clerical issues with the government, and then when we got the money back, the people in charge of it gave us the raspberry and told us that they did not like us enough to continue.  Awesome.  I have been put on a furlough two days a week ( Read more... )

Work is finally not insane and I have a little free time, so today I will be attempting to write an actual post whilst at work.

• The second season of "The Big Bang Theory" came out on DVD today.  I am on disc 2, and completely in love with "Paper, Scissors, Rock, Lizard, Spock".

Drummer Boy and I had been weaning off of our time with each other when he met this girl named Jan.  Jan is 29.  Jan decided that she wanted some sweet drumming action, so she moved in.  To give you an idea of who Jan is- she dresses in an afro and blackface every year for the ward Halloween party.  I crap you not.

End of Robin Hood Season 2: I am SOOOO not cool with that.  I am going to read the book so that I get my happy ending.  Sniff.

That was the temperature in my car when I got in it after work tonight.  The only option was to go home to my lovely and cool basement apartment where, by some miracle of all that is above, it remains a temperate 68 degrees at all times.  Because of the heat, I fell asleep at 8:00 . . . which explains my being awake at this unholy hour ( Read more... )
