It scared the hell out of me!

A week ago tonight, Mao and I were aroused from our much needed beauty rest at 3:40 in the morning to a huge crash. I assumed Muntee had been trying to cook something up and broke a plate or something, so I stumbled out of bed and headed out to the kitchen...no light on in the kitchen. Mao started barking hysterically at one of the windows in the ( Read more... )

Shit, how scary.

I called the police for the first time last night. There was a crowd outside our house shouting for a bitch that lives opposite us. There's always noise when she's around. Blokes shouting up to her window trying to get laid basically. Really screaming they were. It carried on at loud volumes for an hour or so and it was coming up to two am so I was like "someone will the call the police". Then I was like "I'll call the police then".

yeah, it was pretty scary.
my room is the closest to the back yard, but i keep wondering why mao and i were the only ones to wake up, it was pretty loud.

noisy neighbors are annoying.

1. as weird as it may sound, yes we have separate rooms to keep our junk, but we're in each other's rooms all the time. is it really weird?

2. aaron, louie, and muntee would have woken up, if not after hearing the really loud crash, then to mao's incessant barking. i guess all of them are pretty heavy sleepers.

3. i haven't told the police about the suspicions, but i'm going to follow up on our case sometime this week and let them know then, i'm sure we're not a priority. :(

4. don't worry about us, we've got mao to protect us! :) anyway, i'm sure it was just a fluke thing, the neighborhood seems to be really safe. i just met an elderly neighbor today that's been here since 1966 and he says they've never had any problems and he's happy with the safeness of the neighborhood in general.

yes, very awesome that we have a pool, especially when you can still go swimming until well into the fall season.

how are you doing with your recent bout with near burglary?

That's the worst! There's something so sadistic about someone who will intentionally make you feel like you aren't safe in your own home. Glad everyone's okay, and now you know what a good guard dog secret agent Mao is!

yeah, i hope it wasn't intentional, but it seems like someone would have had to throw it pretty hard (and fairly close) for it to tear the screen AND shatter the window.

mao to the rescue!
