You know what I love? Apart from the obvious...

It's this really intense time, touring, filming, whatever. And you give us Hugh reflecting on their relationship like an island of calm, creating a bubble around the two of them. But it's a false calm, it's like that moment before the storm when the wind drops. Then all hell breaks loose in a crappy motel room! It's like: intense, intense, FUCKING INTENSE, a moment of quiet before things go back to the normal level of intense.

Okay, I have no idea if any of that made sense, but I have chocolate biscuits and I'm going to eat them ALL.

And Callum - Callum didn't just let him, Callum wrapped his hands in Hugh's sweater and dragged him closer.

He smelled like smoke and sex.

Hugh breathed it in deep for a moment, then let out his breath slow. "I'm tired of waking up tired, waking up tired, waking up tired," he sang, soft and rough.

Hugh knew this wasn't all it took to get Callum to loosen up, but it sure didn’t hurt.

he gave Hugh this soft grin, letting his arms fall to the side like he had no fucking clue what Hugh wanted him to do

and Callum - together, smooth, reserved Callum fucking Rennie - sobbed for breath

so i would've ended up quoting the entire fic.. but omg i love this so much! your Hugh's voice is superb.. and the ending is just d'awwwww!
