Things happen for a reason.
You're not a fuck up or anything of that sort.
People just make decisions and sometimes their not sure if they are right or wrong..nor do they think about it before they act.
Stop puttin yourself down...and be happy that you have friends and family that love you.
That's all anyone needs.
It's the moral support and comfort that they give you.
