Amélie has caught a virus. We are going on day 5 now. It's awful. It started with vomit and quickly added diarrhea to the mix. Starting last night she has refused to eat or drink anything. Today I have to feed her syringes full of pedialite so she does not dehydrate. She is looking at it as torture and it is making it that much harder. She

Poor baby. :( I know, it's sad when there's no way to make it all better for them. She'll kick it soon, I'm sure. Hang in there.

My boys had that a month or two ago. It was hell. The good news is that after 2-3 days of puking, and then the 2-3 days of just diarrhea, then it's done. So it sounds like she's almost there. Does she like baths? Either a bath or shower a few times a day will help keep her hydrated if she's fighting the pedialyte. Splashing a bit of bath water down is better than nothing!

To help with the diarrhea, do the B.R.A.T. diet.
