I've been trying to kill one of my sims so he can be brought back to life (+8000 points for him) but my favorite method of killing sims quickly doesn't seem to work anymore. I'm fond of using fire for this task (it's fast but rather destructive), so I had him leave food in the oven until it caught fire. All three of the other sims and he freak out

Gee, I managed to set my guy on fire and kill him without even trying. It was pretty amusing, and I didn't realize I could try to get him back. Then his daughter was so busy crying hysterically over his remains that every time I sent her to do something, she ended up back in the kitchen, crying. I forgot to have her go pee and she wet all over the floor, then collapsed on the stairs in exhaustion. Good times.

Oh my... I laughed out loud. I do love the sims. :) I suppose it's when I try to kill one that it just goes awry. I'll get him soon though... You can plead with Death on the newer games of the old Sims, and the Sims2 as well, though I've found him to be a little less forgiving. I had a pregnant sim who accidentally starved to death and he wouldn't let her live. :/ Had to reload without a save to bring her back.

We (me and the girls) were trying to get a single woman we had to hook up with a single dad in a nearby house. We were very new to this at the time (still are, really), and we kept having the woman be outside in case single guy walked by, so she could talk to him and maybe he'd ask her out. We reached a point where she had worked a full night shift and we were making her sit out front in chair, waiting for him to go by. She kept turning and yelling at us (*so* funny!) and it showed the pic of the bed, and I knew she was tired. But we really wanted the guy to ask her out so we kept her out there. He finally walked by and they were talking, and she'd occasionally turn and 'yell' and show the bed icon, but we kept ignoring. After a few minutes she wavered on her feet, then collapsed on the grass in a heap, sound asleep. The single guy turned tail and ran out of there like a house on fire. It was frickin' hilarious, the girls and I laughed about it all day!
