a hundred thousand words could not explain...

Sometimes I wonder what I would be like if I wasn't wound so tightly. If I could just throw it all to the wind and just forget how important doing well is to me, would things be better? I worry all the time. I'll have a head of gray hair by next year, that's for sure. Working so hard wouldn't be that bad if it could actually just pay off for ( Read more... )

Group projects wouldn't be so bad if I didn't have to do the work for everyone. I'm just a perfectionist and cannot handle putting my grade in someone elses hands
geez, isn't that annoying? I so remember those 'group projects' from high school =/ You do the work and the others hang around lazily or go to McDonald's =P wtf. I hope you get a good grade though cut the topic is awesome! Mhm, but I have no idea why football (soccer) isn't as popular over there :shrugs: but at the same time you could ask why baseball or American football aren't big over here *-*

American tennis is not dead
excuse me? Who said/wrote that? I will personally slap that moron!!
Andy ♥ he's up against Nalby today!!

So annoying. Seriously. I thought I was out of group projects when I got to college, but apparently I am not. And I'm glad that it's not another paper to write, but still. Give me a grade, not me as a group.

I really liked the topic too...hence why I chose it. I mean, hey, if they're going to put me in charge, I'm going to pick something that I like. Yeah, I am going to look at that angle. Although, baseball is huge in Asia...so I'm not sure. Hopefully I find something.

Every sports writer over here who pretended to know something about tennis said it was dead. I mean, we've been so spoiled with great players; I understand their concern. But you cannot write off these boys. I was going to post an article I found a lot time ago, but it won't let me see it anymore. Sigh.

Poor puppy. He played terrible today. :(

omg - you know, it's just not fair that when you come home after a killer shift at work (with 2 newbies btw) you switch on the tv to read the telenext sports news ONLY TO FIND OUT that the puppy lost to Nalby *argh!* Nably? WTF. Poor thing :( I bet he was mad at himself cuz he only had to win ONE SET to reach the semis... oh boy, here's to a MUCH better season 2007 *cheers!*

Although, baseball is huge in Asia...so I'm not sure
lol, seriously? I did not know that either *big.shock* And I found out that we actually do have a local baseball team *eep* but they suck, so wth. Our local American football team [ Kiel Baltic Hurricanes ] are in the premier league next season! Yayness! And I won't be there = sadness. Oh well...

Me too. I just hope he sticks around for more than one match next year.

Good point. Also, I'm going to reserve the right to throw things to the wind this weekend. It's just allowed.

I just talked about the worrying too much with my mom today. Because I do that, too. Totally blow things out of proportion and get panicky. Not nice. *hugles you ( ... )

Yeah...it's terrible.

Haha...a Portugal win is something that can cheer up any day. Especially since they've been struggling so much. It was good to see the boys happy again. I think any time you have an injury like that, you want to take every precaution to make sure that it's ok. So I'm sure that's what the ice was about.

Thanks! I thought it was a good topic too. It seemed like something original that my classmates would enjoy. I think that's a good point that you made-about how open the cultures are to Western influence. That has a big role in it. And for some reasons, Americans are reluctant to embrace European influence...even though we eat up whatever they say about fashion.

Interetsing point that. Why fashion but not sports and why do only certain European artists make it in the US? *ponders*
