Scouring cyberspace for a wedding dress...

May 18, 2008 02:25

Hi Folks! I'm hoping you can help me out :) I'm engaged and we just decided to elope! We have a few weeks, however, the clencher is; I am a BIG meatball! I'm easily a size 30/32 and can't find a dress...if anyone has any suggestions, I would welcome and embrace them!
Thank you in advance.
Namaste.

Thank you all for your feedback! I think I've found one on Bridalonlinestore.com. I was actually able to find it in the bridesmaid section. I looked for hours in the "wedding gown" section and nothing really caught my attention...
Thanks again to all of you!
Ciao.
Namaste.

The only thing that I would recommend when sizing a dress from an online buyer is be very liberal in your measurments. I bought my gown(I'm getting married October 2009) in a store and had to buy a size 32. I wear a 28 in pants. My dress is by a company called Bonne ( I believe that is the spelling), see if any of the Bridal shops in your area carry this line. I was so excited to walk into a bridal boutique and grab a dress off the rack and it fit. Not to be crammed into a bridal salon, have a dress that was in no way going to fit me draped over my wonderful body, and being told we might be able to get one to fit you. I dont know where you are residing but the bridal shop thing is a better option( no oops you dont fit and you cant return it)

Best regards,
Erin
