I haven't been on LJ in over a year. I've missed it. And I've missed this community. It was disheartening to come by and find that nobody has posted in Goddess knows how long. In the interest of getting this place going again I am going to post something I wrote recently ( Read more... )

THIS is what I wish this community was about more often.
Cause really? It's turned into post after post of "omg lookit meee" camwhoring, which is why I don't post, or participate much.
Yeah, I know, fat priiiide and modeling and all that. But really. Some people just use this comm as a place to self-promote.

I loved the poem, I really felt it, and live it. Well, except for the sex part, we don't even do that anymore. He says it's because he can't due to health problems, but I can't help feeling it's because of my size.I used to feel sexy and desirable, now I just feel ugly and ashamed.
