My deepest admiration to you for writing so well in English. Not many mistakes--far less than I would make in Italian! I loved the idea. I would be so grateful if someone could help me checking my writing. I'm trying to read as much as I can of the fanfics posted in wranglers and humaninterest in order to learn as many says/idioms as possible (and to improve my poor vocabulary, as well) but sometimes it's hard to render in english lines I think of in italian.
Also, I'm not going to pretend any fake wyoming accent (fortunately, the story takes place in 2006 so it may be believable - I hope - that my characters speak a better english).
If you really want to take the time to correct my chapters (why not starting from the first one? ^_^) I'll take it as a promise! Let me know!
I got no more feedback from you but I don't want to make you feel committed in any way: I'm just checking if, maybe, my messages were eaten by your anti-spam...

the only thing i would mention is that ennis del mar, jr is incorrect. ennis del mar is the grandfather, not the father. wikipedia states: strictly speaking, ‘II’, pronounced the second, refers to a boy who is named after his grandfather, uncle, or cousin.
If that's the only thing you would mention, then you are my favourite fan from now on! ^_^
Jokes apart, I guessed that Senior and Junior were usually used between immediate family members (typically father and son) but, as there's nothing similar in italian, I wasn't quite sure. However, wouldn't it seem too... "aristocratic" calling him Ennis Del Mar II? Couldn't we pretend Alma called him Ennis Junior because she lived with her father and her husband was gone? Could it be strange but possible, anyway? It might also be the reason for some amusing talks about people thinking Ennis father's name is Ennis (or something like that).

You had asked whether or not I'd like to have my story, "Slow Fade," included in your archive, and I wanted to let you know that I'd be honored. The archive looks great, and I think it's a wonderful idea.
I thought I'd let you know, too, that "Slow Fade" was my second BBM fic. I posted a first, "A Dying Wind," on Brokebackslash and in my own journal some time before writing "Slow Fade." You're welcome to include both stories in your archive if you'd like.
Do you need me to upload them to the site or send documents to you, or can you just take them straight from my journal? Let me know.
It will be MY honor and MY pleasure to add your stories to my site.

I've never minded posting on LJ, but as time passes it gets harder and harder to find the stories again. Also, I know of at least one author I'd recommend to you--she has a regular journal and a writing journal, and the writing journal is trascedenza. I'd also have recommended anything by neuontz and lchilds, but I noticed you've already got them there. :) If I come across anyone else, I'll be sure to send them your way.
