Character History:
Here's a good history on him. Personality:
Kobawayakawa Sena is an extremely timid, spineless, shy pushover. Throughout his whole life, Sena was always bullied and doing errands for people to prevent from being bullied. In his childhood, he didn't have very many friends to play with. He did have a childhood friend named Riku Kaitani who taught Sena how to run and how to use that to protect himself from bullies. Riku always protected Sena from bullies and sometimes called himself Sena's older brother. One of Riku's tricks would be to grab all the offender's belts so their pants would fall down. Other than Riku, Anezaki Mamori also protected Sena from the bullies. Mamori was like a big sister towards Sena and always tried to protect him whenever she could. However, when Riku moved away and when Mamori wasn't there, Sena had to defend himself. And to escape from being beaten up, Sena acted as a gofer, running errands for people to prevent the worst. Because of all the errands he ran for people, his speed increased and he used it to his advantage.
On the football field, Sena is almost a completely different person. Almost.. What he may not have much ability in power or tactics, he certainly makes it up in speed. He's the running back for the Deimon Devil Bats and he's a key player when it comes to scoring. In the earlier games, Sena would appear all shaky under the facade of Eyeshield 21. In the beginning, Hiruma gave an arrogant personality to Eyeshield 21 that Sena had difficulty in adapting. He's not the type who would really boast about his abilities. As the series progressed, Sena has learned to become much more confident in himself and in his abilities. But even then, when he performs something spectacular, he isn't the type who will brag about his skills.
Although Sena may seem like a spineless individual, he does have some moments where his confidence does truly shine, although that confidence would only last a mere few seconds as he would trail away into his own doubt. He's the type who doesn't really get angry; but he does when other people's dreams are crushed or they become less confident in their own dreams. You could almost say that he's also chivalrous in that he would protect anybody from getting hurt.
Despite having some confident traits, Sena still cowers under the gazes of really strong, really scary looking people (AHEM HIRUMA). He also screams "HIIEEEE!" when he's caught off guard or very surprised. Other than that, he's not really an outspoken boy. He is, as you can say, definitely more introverted than extroverted.
Extra:
Character Abilities: He can run really, really, really fast. No really. He can run 40 yards in about 4.5 seconds (for now) and about 4.2 seconds if he TRIES REALLY HARD. Yes, those .3 seconds are extremely important! He also has above average agility and an ability called Foresight (which was developed from his gopher days). Foresight is an ability that helps Sena the best path to run. This ability might be okay with people who are slower than him but if he's against people who are as fast as him, it might not work as well.
Possessions: He'll be having his football helmet and his duffel bag which is going to be filled with his casual clothes, water, his cellphone and sneakers.
Anything else: NOTHING ELSE :|

Right here @ dear_mun. Log/Prose sample: He was scared. Literally shaking from his knees down. They were going against Shinryuuji Nagas, no Agon. The one who pushed down Mamori-neechan, his sole protector in life. The one who prevented Kurita-san from entering Shinnryuuji. Sena was truly frightened. Sena bit his lip and looked at his feet.
Everybody seemed to be out in the field, discussing the odds of Deimon Devil Bats winning with Dokurobo-sensei. People had seemed so confident before. They were ready to take down Shinryuuji. But Sena was nervous. Agon wasn't just a person who was driven to win, he was literally evil. But every time Sena had a negative thought, he tried to counter it with something positive. "We're definitely going to take down Agon-san!" But it would quickly be shot down. Sena picked up his helmet and was about to make his way towards the field when something perked his ears.
It was a soft tune.
Sena knew it was game time. He should be heading out towards the fields...but something stopped him. He couldn't really tear himself away from the sound, the soft lullaby whatever it was playing.
He headed towards one of the lockers and tentatively opened it. There it was. The source of the music. It was a pretty decorative music box that emitted the most wonderful sound. With the feeling of frightened being melted away, Sena picked up the music box. Surprisingly, he wasn't nervous at all. He knew that Hiruma would probably come into the locker rooms and start shooting bullets at him for being late but Sena wasn't worried about that. He was interested in the music box that was probably playing one of the most soothing tunes in the world. He was feeling calm, probably the best he had felt for the last few days. Everything seemed to disappear in a blur and Sena was thrust into the magical world of prince and princesses. Everything seemed...okay.
Then the tune stopped.
Sena's eyes popped open.
This wasn't the football field. This wasn't either the locker rooms or his bed room. Sena wildly looked around for any sign of people. There was nobody there.
He was smack dab in the middle of a grand hall with an actual golden chandelier. And the music box was gone.
"Wh-what's going on? Mamori-neechan? Hirum-san? Monta-kun!?!?" Sena's shout echoed throughout the hallway as he desperately tried to find out what was going on.
