Just so you know, you're going to need a verrrry powerful mactop if you want to run FCP. I downloaded it once only to have my lappy actually laugh at me for thinking it could actually handle the memory allocation to run it.

haha yeah I think I knew that in my brain. I still do want a laptop tho....... :( do they have a FCP for a PC? or is that a laugh too?
