Well, I guess I could understand how you could be offended by that (lol since we don't live in the 1950's)...however, I love that era, so I guess I would see it as a complement. :)
If she did mean the "1950's Lounge Singer" then I am indeed flattered. However I believe she was commenting on the fact that I'm not as thin as the people who are considered attractive today are, but who knows.
Well thank you for providing another point of view on the whole comment...I don't know if this makes any sense, but it made the situation better. It's late, so if that doesn't make sense, I'll think of another way to explain it and post it later.
