My thoughts are slightly mixed on this matter. Being a Christian, you might expect that I think homosexuality is wrong. It's true, I do believe that. However, I don't think that any moral objections to homosexuality should have bearing in this situation

Here's my two cents on your comment. To put the Christian perspective in governing a country benefits the country. Why, 'coz God knows what's best for us!
<> Remember the Israelites asked for a king 'coz every other nation has their king? It was not God's intention for them to have a king 'coz He is the King. I believe, in everything, we should recognize God. In everything that we do, put God first. Be it in a public office or church office. Be it in your public life or private life.
In the case of the high percentage of Christian divorce, we need to look at this one factor; how's their walk with God?

Homosexuals have the same rights we all do. A man has the right to marry a woman. A woman has the right to marry a man. They are looking for "special" rights.
If people are able to marry the same sex, where will the line be drawn? We'll have people marrying their freakin hamster before long.
I believe that marriage consists of one man and one woman. Anything else simply isn't marriage. You can't make marriage something it's not.
I am proud to have a president who cares for the sanctity of marriage. I'm disgusted with the way people in my country are behaving. It's my biggest hope that people will turn back to God.
