What's up with yours and Lauren's journal? I like the idea. I guess it helps you look to the brighter side. You are too sweet. I'm glad you and Lauren have each other since I'm not there ;). I love you!

Tom, I am so blessed to have a friend like you in my life, and I thank God for you everyday. You are such an encouragement to me, and I couldn't ask for a better friend:-) So many times I get so wrapped up in everything that is going on around me that I forget to tell the ones I love how much they mean to me and how much I truly value and appreciate them. Thank you for always being there for me, even when I am absolutely ridiculous to be around. I don't know what I am going to do without you next year, but I know God has great things in store for you. Thank you for just being you. Love you lots and I am praying for you always! :-)
PS-one of those C's was for me, right? hehe :-)
thanks for encouraging me and making me smile :-)

God always wants you to be happy? Back that up. ~Your acquaintance in Hazlett 32

I didn't say that God always wants me to be happy. See an earlier post in reflection of some Derek Webb lyrics to see my thoughts on that. I think ulitmately God wants us to be happy. And I admit that perhaps the happiness is not the ultimate end, but it is at least a bi-product of the ultimate end. Is it not logical to think that a parent wants his children to be happy? Not happy in the headonistic sense, but happy more in the sense of inner-peace.

Any more thoughts?
