Everything is in the title I suppose...

The Christmas break is slowly ending and I'm ashamed to say that I didn't write a lot of words (blame it on the family) and between school and ... no mostly school (XD) I was wondering what if some of us need more time?

In my case, I hit the 15k words mark long ago but I really want to take my time with this ( Read more... )

GODS. IT IS SO SOON AND I JUST HIT 7000 WITH MY ROUGH DRAFT AND NOW I AM FREAKING OUT!!

Knew I signed on for too many ficathons BUT I WANT THIS ONE.

I would do really mean things to get to 7000 words right now. I severely underestimated just how busy December would be for me. I probably won't be pleased with the first draft I send in, but I have awesome betas and more time in January to do rewrites.

Basically if we keep the current deadline I'm 90% going to have to drop out. I don't want to say for sure yet, but it's not looking good.

An extension would actually be amazing. I could probably pull some magic and meet the deadline, but considering how busy the last few weeks have been, and how busy the next week's gonna be, dropping out is looking far too likely.
