Kissing In A Tree

AU Clex as kids same age...
“Mommy?” Clark asked.
“What?” Martha smiled down at her young child.
“There’s somebody I like.”
“Oh?”
“I want them to like me back.” Clark said.
“Is it Lana?”
“No. She's so boring. It’s somebody totally new!”
Martha hid the grin behind her coffee. Thank God!
“Is it Jenny?”
“Nope. New as in all the way from Metropolis school. I got a question.”
“Shoot.”
“Pete says you gotta pull on a girl’s hair to tell them you wanna kiss them.”
“That’s not quite the way to get their-”
“That's the problem! Lex is bald, so what should I do?”

That kid was following Lex again.
He tried to hide behind a tree when Lex turned around, but his flannel billowed out and was apparent.
When Lex had recess, he preferred to stay in the shade of the side building. They wouldn’t let him stay in the library during lunch, either. Smallville definitely had it in for Luthors.
“Did you need something?”
Hesitant steps forward. It was the same kid in his class, the shy one that looked at him with big eyes when he’d entered as a new student.
“Hi.” Was all he said.
“Clark, is it? What do you want?”
The other boy remained silent.
“Why are you looking at me like that?”
Something was in his hand.
“I wanna give you a present.”
Clark held out a dirty, squirming, pink worm.
“They taste great!”
