Kissing In A Tree 1.7

Just a lil something.

“Clark Jerome Kent! You are in big trouble, mister! Let go of that boy.” Mrs. Sanderson scolded.

Clark had to let go of Lex. He didn’t want to. Lex was even softer than the mud, and warmer.

“Just wait till your mother hears what you did.”

“I’m sorry.”

“Sorry is not good enough! You are going to sit in the corner during class.” Mrs. Sanderson pointed for him to go.

And there were suddenly tears in his eyes. And he remembered why he didn’t do mean or bad things. Even if he did get Lex hugs.

“Bye Lex.”

Lex was just real quiet.

Did he not like Clark hugs? Clark’s mother said he was an expert at them!

“Right now, mister.”

Clark went to go inside to the corner. Everyone was going to know what he did.

“See you tomorrow.” He heard the boy’s voice.

And when he sat in the corner, he grinned when he found Lex had slipped the rest of the gummy worms in his pockets.

Next time I’ll hug longer!
