I have gotten into H/D again in the worst way. But Now I'm all refreshed for the writing. I feel loads better now.
I'm not really sure how long Kissing is going to last.
Clarkie: So you better buckle your Lexy belt!
Lexie: That's safety belt.
Clarkie: Wouldn't you want a Clarkie belt?
Lexie: Point taken.
*Much kissing!*

“Mommy, can I please get the poster board?” Clark asked Martha.
“Is it for a school project?” She asked as they went down Fordman’s department store aisle.
“It’s for my Puppy Love Lex Project for heart day.” Clark confided in her.
“Oh?” Her son had taken his fondness to new heights.
“Yeah. It’s a big super duper pooper scooper secret though. You can’t tell nobody.”
“My lips are sealed.”
Clark reached for the board.
“Don’t you think a nice card would be enough?” He was going to scare the other boy half to death at this rate with his enthusiasm.
“Na ah. It’s gotta be the best mommy! Lex says he always gets the best everything!”
Martha didn’t doubt it.
But did it have to be her little boy, too?
“All right, then.”
And Clark placed his poster rolled slightly into the cart.
“Thank you.”
“Welcome, honey.” She patted his head gently.
Martha went down the list of other items she had to buy for around the farm. There was some re-plastering that needed to be done on the side of the house, some yellow paint, and the toaster had been jump started for the last time. She went carefully over the budget in her head to count off what they could get.
Yet Clark had other ideas.
He had wandered to the far end of the aisle and was looking soulfully at something.
Martha sighed and pushed the cart closer.
“Mommmy?” The drawn out pleading was already in his voice.
He wants something else already? That isn’t usually like him.
One toy was enough to grab his attention for several months, which he would always share with Pete as well. His poster and crayons and paint should be enough.
Martha’s gaze locked onto what Clark wanted.
It was a big drum shaped cylinder with all the colors imaginable of glitter.
The sequence shined and matched the light in her boy’s eyes.
She wished to tug on his arm but knew a tank couldn’t move him from his spot if he wanted to remain rooted to it.
And he turned his face to hers and gave her the full puppy look.
“Pretty please?” Clark hugged the drum as if it was his new best friend.
She tried to think of all the things they needed to buy for the house on such a tight budget, but relaxed a little when she saw the item was on special sale.
Martha nodded.
“Mommy, thank you so much.” He hugged her.
Only the best for my boy, too.
Clark hugged the glitter to him all around the store and after they left.
“Lex is gonna see how big my heart’s for him!”
She could not regret her decision.

Her view of Clark’s abode a few days later made Martha groan a little. Clark’s poor room was a total disaster area. She wondered how a fairly clean loft could look like it went though a major explosion within the span of a week without uranium.
He was going to have to clean this up all weekend.
But the poster board and Clark were already on their way to school for Valentine’s day.
Something else was missing from his arts and crafts too.
She searched all her art supplies, and his room, and realized there was none to be found.
Martha made herself a cup of strong tea as Jonathan lumbered in.
“Not one speck to be found.”
“A speck of what?” Her husband asked.
“Glitter.”
Her boy was so in love.
“We have glitter?”
