Darn. I was hoping there was another reason for Itachi killing the clan and leaving Sasuke alive. Though Sasuke still doesn't have the Mangekyou Sharingan, so wouldn't that make it impossible to have the light back in his eyes?
Also Madara, why is he powerless now? I thought he escaped the curse by taking his brother's eyes.
Is Itachi a bullshit artist or what?

I did love that Sasuke killed Orochimaru. I thought for sure Oro. would take over and we'd have a huge arc or even until the end of the series Naruto trying to get Sasuke's soul back into his body.

Sasuke gives Sai the smack down, obviously irritated at the mention of Naruto's name. Still lets him talk but scares him off. Sasuke's comeback entrance, immediately flying right up to Naruto, talking so intimately into his ear. Could have killed Naruto when he was hesitating but didn't, Naru was in weakened state still, but there was the pause. He was getting worked up enough to do a major move but conveniently let Oro. stop him. One percent chance more to kill his brother my ass.
There are others but for now I'm just a squeeing!
And Sai may not be gay but his outfit was stolen from a missing Village People person. And his Penis talk.
And Shikamaru is awesome. V.v. happy he got an arc of his own.
