I don't know how many of you out there are watching Archer on FX, but if you're not, you should check it out - it's a pretty fun show. I think it's a bit like Frisky Dingo meets Naked Gun meets Dilbert ...but probably a lot less crazy than that makes it sound. i detested it the first time i saw it, but since then have somehow become hooked

lol, i can relate. i felt exactly the same way about metalocalypse. XD

lana is pretty sexy, i agree (and i like how she's imperfect, which makes her a lot more real than a character like her might be); and of course malory is made of absolute win. i haven't loved a character -- especially a female one -- this much in a long time. she does remind me a lot of lucille... but not so much that the characterization is stale and predictable. it really is very awesome to have jessica walter on tv again, though.

(and yeah, arrested development was definitely among my favorite shows of all time. <3)

did you see the ep where jeffrey tambor played the voice of malory's old lover?! aw, darn. no. i don't think i did. at least, i don't recall an episode featuring an old lover of hers (though i remember a few different guys having crushes on her). i'll have to try to catch the couple that i've missed, because that really does sound fantastic ( ... )

Lana reminds me of Crazy Kung-Fu Wolf Bitch, and it's not just because of Aisha Tyler. I'd prefer her to end up with Cyril, though, he's...relatively more well-adjusted.

i know, right!? for a while i kept trying to figure out why malory seemed so familiar, but couldn't put my finger on it. then i realized her voice sounded a lot like lucille bluth -- and the personality totally fit.

then i checked imdb... SAME ACTRESS!

i dunno about cyril being so well-adjusted. he definitely seems like it at first -- but he needs to get his crazy jealousy issues under control. especially when he's the only one cheating. *cough*

but, dude-- i can't believe you watch this show! :D! i was almost certain no one on my f'list would know what the heck i was talking about.

No. She was one of Granddad's prospective girlfriends on The Boondocks, this girl named Luna who seemed nice, only to end up as a kung-fu expert who had killed before, and lived with wolves. Although that name fits Lavona perfectly...XD

I've only seen Arrested once, but her voice stuck with me for some reason.

I know, he's a cheater and has issues with jealousy, but I'd be pissed off too if my significant other's ex was hitting on them again. Out of the two of them, if I had to pick, I'm not going for the one with mommy issues.

Dude, I didn't know you watched it either! I remember hearing "H. Jon Benjamin and the staff of Frisky Dingo" and I was sold. I would love to see a comm for the show.

by the way, if you like animated comedy and 'people are idiots'-based humor, you should really check out metalocalypse, too. it's a fantastic show.

I probably would like metalocalypse (wow is that hard to type), but I no longer get Cartoon Network because Comcast is stupid and moved it to the digital package.

OMG I'm so happy somebody else is watching this show. It looked interesting from the previews but I never had the time to really watch it while it was airing, and just the other day I decided to watch some eps online and omg it is HILARIOUS. I'm so happy other people are into this as well, it's a fantastic show. The characters are so unique and great and uggggh it's just such a fun show.

Cheryl aka Whatever is so wonderful, she's so messed up but she does it all in this innocent, naive way that totally gets you and it's hysterical. And Pam's always the one who's just standing there, like, oh man, here we go, lol.

So, OBVIOUSLY I REALLY LIKE THIS SHOW, A LOT. I still need to watch the final episode because I haven't been able to find it yet, but after that I'm so looking forward to season two! :D

dude, i am so with you. this show is awesome, and more people need to be watching it. i love pretty much all the characters (even the one-offs); it's brilliantly cast, and the dialogue is witty and hilarious. i'm so happy to find out there are other people on my flist who are watching this show-- you have no idea. \o ( ... )

It's always exciting when you find people with your same interests - at least I do, because my interests are so unconventional and obscure that it's usually rare for me to find someone into the same things as I am, so when I do it turns out to be the best ( ... )
