I'm off twitter for awhile.

A constant outflow. You want to know how I am? You want to know what I've been up to? I would like to actually interact with you to convey such information. Besides that, I want to not be tied to my phone as a friend substitute. Going on the inclination that perhaps if I put it out there, someone is listening. That knowledge alone can make me feel ( Read more... )

will you perhaps be writing more in livejournal? or are these online forms of communications not working for you at all?

(...I ask because I'm missing my friends' more in-depth livejournal writing that have been slowly exhaling a last post-twitter breath since 2007.)

I do think I'll be posting more on my LJ.

Actually, I'd like to create a space separate from any commercial type website and have my own to use as a stage for my thoughts, pictures, projects, etc.

But with all that's going on, I think LJ will be that for at least awhile longer.

I love reading your posts and really appreciate the thought and genuineness that permeates your writing.

I completely understand and agree. In addition to everything you said, I feel like when I put too much of myself out there -- on Twitter, Facebook, LJ, whatever -- when I actually do have the pleasure of interacting with people in real life, I never know what to say. When they ask, "What have you been up to?" I don't have anything to respond with because they already know what I've been up to from my various social networking sites. I find myself prefacing every story or thought with, "Have you been reading my LJ lately?" Or "Did you see my tweet yesterday?" -- not because I will get upset if they haven't, but because I don't want to repeat myself. In those situations, I'm actually *glad* that they haven't been keeping tabs on everything I've been posting online, because it gives us something to talk about!

No doubt!

Once, I met up with my Brother for lunch and when I asked him how he was he said, "Oh, that's right, you're not on facebook."

OMG! (To be fair, he's since told me he's changed his ways.)

I definitely look forward to seeing people when we both have lots to share!

It was lovely to see you in person when I was in California! I enjoyed your music, too, especially the uke.

One of the things I like a lot about our journeys to the desert is that it's kind of enforced real-world-time with people I often only get to interact with electronically.

I would love to catch up with you in person sometime. I don't follow your "tweets", though I do miss your wonderful long livejournal posts. :)

Would you like to go for a flight some time after I finish my licence?

Yes! I would be delighted to go for a flight with you! (And catch up in person, before or after you get your licence!)

I was just perusing some picture of us when we went to GG park together! PINEPHONES!

I hope I offer more long lj posts in the coming weeks. :)

I. Am in your house. I am in your foofy. Givin you love from the first floor. Feel it percolating? That's the sound of adoring you in whatever form I can get you.
