I think I have this straight - Livejournal was created in 1999 by some dude, who formed an operating company called Danga Interactive. In 2005, Danga Interactive was acquired by a company called SixApart, who later sold Livejournal in 2007 to a Russian company called SUP. I had no idea about russians owning livejournal, what a strange twist, who would have thought. And how mch cooler is it that the president has an account!

I can't read a word of any it! But it is indeed pretty neat. Good on Livejournal in chucking their American staff and pulling up stakes! The Russian blogosphere is one of the most active in the world, most of them blogging about all the money they're making in natural gas while the US economy gets sunk by leverage by-products. FUCK YOUR YANKEE BLUE-JEANS! :D
