For her birthday this past September, one of the things I gave me mam was the Firefly box set, and since she enjoyed it I got her the Serenity collector's edition DVD this past Thanksgiving. Hey I made it into this post! wooohoooo! Firefly is and always will be an awesome show! On an odd note, did you folllow this recent Hulk storyline involving the red/green hulks? I read it and was felt sorely gypped. What are your thoughts?

so, besides what you've mentioned above Bob, what do you find interesting to read comics wise these days? Have you tried anything along the vertigo lines?

If not, I would recommend Fables, or american vampire. I know you're not the biggest vampire fan in the world, so forget that last one. In it's place you should try Northlanders, also a well written book.

Vertigo has some good titles, consistently. There has always been one or two titles that I could muster up enough interest at any one time along the vertigo line.

Well, as you may have gathered from the subject of the post above, put anything with the word 'Serenity' in the title and I will absolutely pick it up. Even 'The Shepherd's Tale', which wasn't bad, necessarily, but it's not a great fit into the continuity and it's very short. Plus there's not enough of the Firefly crewmembers ( ... )
