I was under the impression that black eyes tend to clear in around six days, but apparently those with feminine wrath last longer. In any case there's just a faint yellow-green shadow above my eyelid now, nothing too noticeable. At least I don't have to wear a funny-looking patch anymore. (It was worth it.)The weather is being downright troublesome

Ah, feminine wrath. Is there anything it can't do? And you're right about the weather. It's times like these that our apartment's constant heat comes in handy.
