It's simply impossible to dress proper for this weather. Too hot beneath the sun, too chilly on a shadowed wind. Auburn is burning the umber of my hair, hot to the touch when I finally get back in from the park ( Read more... )

If this weather is so troublesome to dress for, don't get dressed.

That is a practice far more successful outside the city, unfortunately.

No decent ponds here for skinny dipping, either.

I knew there was a reason for disliking cities. You could do it in the small one in the park. Do it at night, though.

I don't even want to begin to imagine what waste might be in there.

It sounds like poetry when you write, sometimes. I still find it hard to stay warm, maybe I should try and catch a little more sunlight.

I have no mind for art...perhaps it's the daydreaming getting to me at night.

My ma would have a heart attack if she saw your complexion, Kira. You ought to try the lazing in the sun thing with me sometime, oi.

Oh I -- I don't know. I don't really do lazing very well, it makes me nervous.

It's surprisingly easier with someone else, simply being aware of the other's presence. Partially due to the other's lack of movement you can find excuse to put off getting up, as well.

You shouldn't be worrying about the weather as much as me kicking your ass. I can't believe you didn't even call to see if I was alive! What kind of a friend are you!? Now you're definitely NOT getting a kidney!!

Oh Ino, I could hear your moaning from the next room. I was confident in my gut feeling that that was the melodrama fever speaking and not the zombie transformation; otherwise I would have summoned Hime.

Oh Shikamaru, you asshole. You'll miss me when I'm gone.

See, you're sounding better already.

Ino, my throw blanket is missing. Did you borrow it?

You're always complaining about something - suppose the weather's better than anything else.

Two weeks, huh? Dunno where the hell all that time went.

It'll surely be something else next time I bother to pick this thing up.

Not often time sneaks up on me like this...

You'd be boring otherwise. More boring, anyway.

First time for everything.

I don't think I'll ever really understand how you can write like this.

But if you're too hot, I have one of those insulating mugs that if you put something cold in it, it'll stay cold (or warm, depending on what you put in). You wanna borrow it?

I guess I don't talk it out loud.

That would be great for the park, if it's no bother, Chouji.

Ok. I'll go find it and give it to you in the morning, ok? Or leave it in the fridge or something.
