Linguistics is so much fun! Just be glad when they give you homework in IPA and you can read it because the characters are all Roman and thus easy for you and not Hebrew readers. (My intro to linguistics class gave us one homework in Klingon. I thought that was funny enough to make up for all the annoying assignments for the rest of the course.)
