What is the Clients category?

Clients is a specialist category of LiveJournal support which deals with questions relating to the downloading, installation, and usage of LiveJournal clients.

What kinds of questions do you answer in Clients?

There are many different kinds of questions we get asked. Here's a list of some of them.

As someone who adminned Clients for like, eight months without ever having touched Windows during that period, I'll second that "OS neutral" approach :)

*grin* The truly 1337 among us could answer questions about an OS they don't even use. :)

I want to use my client for DeadJournal/GreatestJournal/anotherJournalsite, how do I do that? -- We don't provide support for other journaling sites, even if they do use LJ's software.

My instinct on this would be to answer them in the Clients category, even though the answer is "Go away and bug DeadJournal/GreatestJournal/anotherJournalsite Support." Since that's not the case, do they go in G/UNK?

No, they stay in Clients. I'll edit this for clarity.

This comment is so very late, but thank you. I was confused since that part was in the section for things that are not Clients.
